Our Story
From The Firehouse To A National Brand
Firehouse Signs 4 Less was created from a lifelong passion for both the fire service and the signage industry.
Owner John Terwilliger began his journey in the emergency services at just 16 years old when he joined the Otisville Fire Department. What started as a commitment to community service quickly became something more—shaping him into the hardworking, disciplined, and engineering-minded professional he is today.
Through the mentorship and guidance of his Captain, John continued his path in public safety, building a career as a Paramedic. While working full-time in EMS, he launched Pocono Sign Company—building it from the ground up while balancing the demands of emergency service.
Through dedication and hard work, John and his wife Lauren grew Pocono Sign Company into a nationally recognized sign manufacturer. But even with that success, John never lost connection to the fire service.
John is currently a member of the Lakeville Fire Company.
